Our Story
At Yolo Roots Flower Farm, our story begins with Sarah Larkin, a dedicated florist serving Yolo County for over 20 years. Her deep passion for flowers, nature and sustainability has led her to become a farmer florist, where she cultivates vibrant flowers and foliages to use in her floral design business Sarah Larkin Design as well as provides sustainably grown flowers to local florists. Alongside her floral creations, Sarah is committed to growing a variety of vegetables, providing nutritious food and fostering a connection between our community and the land on which it grows. Embracing sustainability, we honor the circle of life, nurturing the earth while creating a harmonious balance between flowers, food and community.
Our Team
Day to day operations are predominantly Sarah's responsibility, but she gets to start Monday mornings with Sol and Elizabeth. They help me start the week off right!I have had friends helping and cheering me all along the way, and it sure does help knowing I'm not alone in building this dream. Thank you.
